Wendy and I were cousins who met when we were children.. My Mother and Father had taken me to visit Aunt Rae and Uncle Max in Chicago, and cousin Wendy and I immediately became good friends. We were pen pals for many years, and as adults we visited each other in Chicago and Boston several times. She was a wonderful cousin. I will miss her terribly, but I will cherish the memories of our times together. Her Boston family sends its deepest condolences to Glen and all the Chicago family.

I have known Jamie and Lauren for almost 15 years. I have seen the great kids that they have raised in Max and Abby.
Recently almost 4 months ago I got to met Lauren’s dad Glen.
It was apparent to me when I met Glen the love he had for his family.
I waIs very impressed with listening to Glen’s words of love, empathy, and the way in which he honored his wife over these last difficult months.
This family are simply good people and I am proud to call them my friends.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Wendy’s Words of Wisdom when I met her when Lauren and Heather were in kindergarten: “If you don’t advocate for your daughter, who do you think is going to?” I thought of these words many times.
