Obituary
Mollye Ruth Schwartzberg, nee Waxman, 93, of Scottsdale, Arizona. Devoted mother of Samuel (Kimberly) Schwartzberg and the late Marci Schwartzberg; cherished grandmother of Jeremy (Candyse) Schwartzberg, Jodi (Graham) Jaeggi, and Jaclyn (Dane) Olah; proud great-grandmother of Layla, Beckett, and Emilia; dear sister of the late Irving Waxman and sister-in-law of the late Sandi Chatz; caring aunt of Joey (Meg) and David (Jessica) Waxman; dear former spouse of Irving Schwartzberg; beloved daughter of the late Anita Waxman. Mollye was born in Akron, Ohio and raised in Los Angeles, California before moving to the Chicagoland area. She raised her children in Elgin and resided in Skokie before moving back to Los Angeles. Mollye worked as a receptionist at real estate firms in LA (until she was 83!), most recently Coldwell Banker. She spent much of her time reading, going to the movie theatre, and volunteering at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles. Mollye must have been lucky, as she was known for finding coins on the ground everywhere she went. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Museum of Tolerance, www.museumoftolerance.com. Chapel service Tuesday, January 16, 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W.
