Benita “Bonnie” R. Glickman

Benita R. “Bonnie” Glickman, 85, passed away on March 18, 2024; beloved wife and best friend of Myron for 62 wonderful years; loving mother of Michael (Andrea), Steven (Laurel) and the late James; cherished “Bebe” of Max (fiancee’ Prestin), Daniel, Alana, Leo, Mayaan, Nico (fiancee’ Hannah), Simi and the late Johnathan; much loved sister of Elayne (David Wong) Klasson; treasured aunt, great aunt and friend of many. Bonnie loved a good mystery novel, a game of Mahjong or Bridge, a good movie, and loved to travel. Bonnie and Myron traveled to 23 countries, having visited 6 of the 7 continents, but most of all her greatest past time was spending time with her family. Bonnie was the Past President of the Sisterhood of Main Township Congregation, an active volunteer at the Deerfield Senior Center, a docent at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center.
