Dear Rhea,
You ,Marvin, Dana,Dori and David will always have a special place in my heart.
I worked at the grooming shop but became part of your family – as you embraced me and included me .
Rhea you were there for me through the good times in life and the tough times. You were Grandma to my children – and I know God put you there for us to always have that relationship!
I feel blessed to have had time with you before you passed and I am thankful that I was there with Dori.
May you rest in peace now and I know you are watching over us all.❤️

Auntie Rhea,
You have been such a wonderful part of my childhood. I have such fond memories of our families getting together throughout the years. Thank you for being a best friend to my mom, Ada Cohen. You two were also laughing and enjoying each other’s company!

Rhea –
I will always have fond memories of you and our time together. Your smile, wit and warmth made me feel comfortable and happy. I enjoyed playing bingo with you (and taking turns winning)! Our visits and talks were nice. You were a straight shooter and I appreciated your honesty. I really got to know you and your family. I felt your love for your immediate and extended family including your love for all your temporary and adopted dogs that you lovingly cared for. It was fun talking about our love of dark chocolate and taste testing our favorites! You will be truly missed by so many. Thank you for being a friend.

Rhea was such a bright light to all of us! She was an inspiration to me in how she lived her life with joy, love and determination…never giving up regardless of the obstacles that came her way. I loved the way she told you exactly how she felt… no BS from Rhea ever!
Our bridge games will be in my memory forever.. Thank you for being such a great teacher.
Miss you very much my friend.

So many sweet memories of Rhea! I will never forget her. She was ageless – always so fun, good natured, and ready to try something new. She touched a lot of hearts – especially mine! I still feel the hole. Rest in peace.

Tonight I saw a falling star,
A beautiful blue streak across the sky, falling into the distance…
Falling, just like the way I once witnessed as a boy, Rhea telling a joke, laughing with our mother Joy while sitting in our living room, and then laughing SO hard, she went right over backwards in the rocking chair…not hurt, she continued to laugh even harder….and my astonished response at such a feat of wonder was to simply ask,
“WOW, can you do that again?”
What a beautiful time it was growing up in the 70’s, knowing we were loved by our mothers, and fathers and that all of us were lucky, sharing our time together on Dartmouth Lane.
Love, Peter

My aunt Rhea was one of a kind! She was always so loving, funny, kind , and wore amazing jewelry!
I remember going to her house on Lydell Ave when they lived in Milwaukee. We always had such fun playing with our cousins .
I’m sure I have some of her inappropriate genes in me, even though she’s my aunt through marriage! The dirty 69 birthday has stuck in my head all these years later! As we all age, I can’t tell you all the people I encounter who are turning 69. Being Susie, I remind them this is their dirty birthday!!!! Once my remark is processed, I encounter a hearty laugh.
Aunt Rhea, you will be deeply missed by all your dear family, children and grandchildren. We will feel a huge void in our hearts with your passing.
I have not seen you in many years, but want you to know , I love you, I’ll miss you, and you will always hold a special place in my heart. Rest in peac e ♥️😢

I have so many wonderful memories of Marv and Rhea. Since the 70’s. Picking up the dogs at Canine Coiffure meant allowing 30 minutes of laughing and visiting. I started the Yanow house being a boarding house so we could all go on vacations knowing our poochies were well loved. I loved my time with Rhea at our grandson’s soccer games. Rhea was the sweetest and most fun to always have long conversations.
Rest in Peace along side dear Marvin. Our condolences to the entire Yanow family from the entire Paget family.

I was fortunate enough to spend time with Rhea for a while. I absolutely loved being with her – we had so much fun together. She was kind, interesting, loving and had a wicked sense of humour, which I loved. I shall certainly miss her.

Rhea, you are a special lady and were one of the very best things about us moving next door to you a few years ago. We loved sharing time at bingo, (you always won!!) water aerobics (you loved the pool), bridge (you were a great teacher!), LEO outings (Ladies Eating Out), celebrating your birthdays (always such fun!!) and of course our peaceful walks and private chats. We will keep you in our hearts and memories with love always.

It has taken me all day to think of the words that can adequately describe my love for Rhea, and the void that her loss has created. Her spunk, humor, and shared love of dogs, the Green Bay Packers and playing bridge didn’t give me a choice but to love her like a second mom. I will always, always treasure our times together. Never a dull moment was spent with our dear Rhea by our side. Rest well, my friend. You deserve it. With love, Jill (and Tito)

I loved my Auntie Rhea from the moment I met her. It makes me smile to recall that as a little girl, I thought my Auntie was exotic having come all the way from Winnipeg, Canada.! It’s a beautiful thing to be remembered by many for your wonderful laugh, your boundless enthusiasm for life, and your abundant warmth and kindness. Others may seek to learn how to become their “authentic self.” But, that was simply Rhea.
My dear Aunt had an uncanny way of making one feel especially loved at each encounter. I feel fortunate to have been the recipient of her affection and loving ways. For me, Aunt Rhea’s memory will truly be a blessing. With love always

I met Rhea in 2018 She was my neighbor, but quickly became my friend. Every time I saw Rhea , her amazing spirit quick wit and her vivaciousness always made me laugh. She loved the sports car and wanted a ride. So we made plans went out one day cruise. The beach went shopping. Although the difference in our age, she always acted so young and on top of her game, and we would laugh and tell each other stories. She had the best sense of humor, I loved her sincerity, no smoke screens, she was the real deal. She’d always tell it like it is. I loved her and will miss her. Rest in peace my friend ❤️❤️

Rhea was my friend for almost 5 decades. She and her whole family made me feel like a part of that family. So many great memories: Sitting in her kitchen talking about anything, being invited to all the holiday meals, watching Dana, David and Dori grow up, her laugh, so many more memories. Rest in peace, my friend.

Rhea was the best. She was always available to take care of our dogs from 1971 until she moved to Florida. All our dogs loved her, and we loved her too. She was kind and generous and always available to talk about anything. Rhea and Marvin made a great couple. They were both kind and down to earth people. May she rest in peace. Thank you for all you did for our family. Sam and Cathy

Auntie Rhea was an amazing aunt. She cared deeply for friends and family. She was my fellow nurse and we always had a special bond. She was a cheerleader for those who were sick.
So happy we saw her in Florida last year.
Always in my heart .❤️

So many fond memories spending time with Rhea when she came to Winnipeg for visits on special occasions like Bar Mitzvahs and Weddings. Rhea ‘s visits were always something we looked forward to. My fondest memory is when she invited me and my friend Troy to stay with her when we flew from Winnipeg to Chicago while building time for my pilot’s licence. Troy reminded me yesterday that he remembered how ridiculously fast she drove on the freeway (something we’re not used to here on the prairies) and her laughter. She was such a wonderful woman.
