Robert Alan Izenstark, 77, beloved husband of Fern Izenstark, née Rosen, happily married for 53 years; loving father of Jonathan David, Matthew Scott (Andrea) and Gregory Adam (Jennifer) Izenstark; cherished Papa of Reese, Charlie, Jacob, Jordyn and Joshua Izenstark; treasured uncle to several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org. Chapel service Monday, February 5, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park. To the entire Izenstark family I am so so sorry for your loss! I met Bob in college at the University of Wisconsin! Bob was a dear friend of my boyfriend ,Michael Steinberg. Bob was always fun to be around and I always enjoyed his company! I met Bob later on when his youngest son, Gregory played in BGRA baseball! Gregory was on the same team with my son, Scott! Again my deepest sympathy to the Izenstark family!
