I first met June and Leonard when, in 1978, Maureen and I purchased a canary from their business “Dial a Bird”.
Being a pet store junkie, a short time later, I just happened to walk into their pet supply store “AAA”.
It was VERY busy, only Leonard and June were working. They recognized me, I told them that I would be happy to help. Along with “Uncle” Leonard I became a salesman. June worked the register. After our very busy afternoon they invited my wife and I out to dinner.
That was the beginning of what became our 46 year relationship as part of the Fisher family.
