I met Harvey in 1983 at which point I had only been out of college only 2.5 years. He was the structural contractor on this big 30 story building and I was a young guy with a lot to learn. Over the years I got to know him better due to his relationship with my superiors and we became friends. I often asked for his advice and he was happy to mentor me. When I started my company 23 years ago, he was incredibly supportive with nothing to gain for himself. We built a number of great projects together over the years and I give him credit for helping us with his great business insight and advice. My wife and I enjoyed having dinner with him and Bobbi when they came to Miami on several occasions and I think Harvey and I had lunch at least once every time he came down. He will be missed for so many reasons. May his memory be for a blessing to the entire Teitelbaum Family.

All the years that Johan worked for FTC Harvey, Edgar and Joel treated our family as if we were part of their family. Harvey will be missed by all of my sons as they all worked for FTC a long time ago. Through all of Johan’s health issues Harvey always kept Johan in his thoughts and prayers. A great man has left all of us and will be greatly missed.

I had a business relationship with Harvey for over 20 years. I admired him as both a businessman and a human being. His character was above reproach. He was kind, thoughtful and always fair. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace my friend.

My mother and Merle have been best friends since they lived in the same building prior to having kids. Growing up my sister Cara and I had the privilege of attending Hebrew and Sunday school at Moriah congregation with Sam, Josh and Danny. With this friendship that our mother’s had, came spending the Jewish holidays together at Harvey and Bobbi’s home. I will always cherish the times spent together whether for a holiday meal or happy occasion such as a bar or bat mitzvah. Harvey was not only a gracious host and leader of the holidays but such a kind a wonderful person that you enjoyed being around. He will certainly be missed.

Harvey has always been a great man to work with, his loyalty and friendship is a testament to his character. The first time I had to go into his office to get an agreement signed I was nervous and he walked through all the details and made it a learning experience. I will miss him because he was one of a kind. From all of us at Morrow Equipment please accept our sincere condolences on your loss.

I have known Harvey my entire life. He was a first cousin closer in age to my parents and it wasn’t until I was an adult that I got to know him. He was always kind and warm to me. Family was important to him, and he always made an effort to remain close, first to my parents and then to my brother, sister, and me. I admired his business acumen, his devotion to his work, and his love and commitment to his wife, Bobbi, and children and grandchildren. He stayed physically and mentally active long past when most people retire, and I was inspired by his commitment and dedication. His passing leaves a giant hole in our family. I will miss him.

Ever since I started to work at Seitlin Insurance (now Marsh) 23 years ago, I heard of Mr. Harvey Teitelbaum. Back then another associate used to take care of his policies and from listening to their conversations (she sat next to me) I feared having to deal with him. It turns out that when she retired, I inherited Teitelbaum Concrete Co. and the more I dealt with him, the more I appreciated and admired him. Yes he was tough on the outside, but I could feel how amazing, intelligent and thoughtul he was. I know how good he was with his employees, how sad he was when Alma suddenly passed away. I will always remember him and the day we met for the first time. It was not an easy insurance renewal, but we understood each other and he trusted me. Harvey: I know that you are now in God’s hands and close to your son and those you loved .
