Sara Rosenbluth

Three years ago, due to COVID, we had the pleasure of hosting several members of the Skolnik clan for Thanksgiving. This was the first time we met Sara, who is a sweet, elegant and supremely impressive intellect, bon vivant and grandmother. We fell in love with her instantly, having extended and fascinating conversations. We spent many holiday celebrations with Sara since then and our fondness grew and grew. We are deeply saddened by her passing, as she is the true Skolnik matriarch and center of affection. Love and caring, mixed with playful and meaningful artistic brilliance, just poured out of her and we will miss her dearly for many years to come. My kids always looked forward to her art lessons and had such fun. My daughter still tells the story of how she went exploring in Sara’s studio and found a sketchbook with drawings of various people’s noses. Sara exclaimed to Kimmy, “Ah, I see you’ve found my noses.” And my son, Bill, was taken by the pictures of the various ways my Dad hung up his towels in the bathroom (never tidily). Thank you Sara.
