Aunt Aggie and my dad were siblings. As such my mom and Aunt Aggie had a sister relationship. Consequently, I spent a great deal of time at their house in Grand Rapids, summers in Grand Haven in neighboring trailers and then in shared cottages. I always looked up to Bonnie. Perhaps my journey into education at MSU was due to her influence. I always enjoyed seeing her and Marc when visiting Florida. May her memory be a blessing.

I am so sorry learning about Bonnie. I spent so much time with the twins growing up in Grand Rapids with them. My Aunt Aggie, their mom, was the best cook! I remember playing with their dolls….I saw them when they visited Florida in the winter….may Bonnie rest in peace.

The Wepmans named their twin daughters Bonita and Naomi. But, to the world, the two were always known as Bonnie and Nonnie. (Rhyming names are cute!) Now, Bonnie and Nonnie are together in spirit, along with their husbands, Marc and Marc. Yes, both married fine gentlemen named Marc! Coincidence? Fate? Or part of a divine plan?
