Uncle Moe was a very special person. He had a great interest in everything that was happening in our lives.
He loved his family very much and we loved him. He was very close to my late parents, his brother(my Dad) Syd and my Mom Roslyn and enjoyed coming up for the Jewish Holidays.
He was a true mensch and will be greatly missed.
I am glad I had an opportunity to visit with him recently after his surgery in December.
Our deepest condolences to Mary, Annette, Tony and the family.
May Uncle Moe’s memory be for a blessing.

I am one of Uncle Moe’s Montreal nephews, his older sister Shirley’s son.
I didn’t have the words back then, when I was a kid, but I thought my Uncle Moe was a “cool” guy. I never heard him utter a harsh word, raise his voice or witness any display of resentment or anger. To me, he seemed unflappable. When told of his athletic prowess that only enhanced his reputation. It was easy to talk to him, and I never felt he was talking down to me as a kid. We talked mostly sports in those days, So, I was distraught when I heard Uncle Moe was leaving Montreal for Chicago, which seemed so far away, Years later, I leaned that Uncle Moe was more than cool; he could be dead serious. Our conversations ranged widely across politics, current affairs, music, history, and occasionally sports. The guy read a lot, never stopped learning, and he was affectionate to boot. To, my mother’s brother, who I so admired I take my hat off, and say…. .
Love ya, Uncle Moe

Dear Auntie Mary, Annette, Tony and family,
We were so saddened to hear about our beloved Uncle Moe but grateful for the full life that he had filled with the love of his family and laughter. We are so happy that we had the opportunity to have such a memorable visit with him, Auntie Mary and Annette in September.
So many memories have flooded back and they all put a smile on our faces. Hope that he is having a great chat with our dad and mom
We will be thinking of you all on Friday.
May his memory be for a blessing.
much love, ghita and wayne and family
