I’ve known Howard since my college days where we met at Univ. of Illinois, Champaign. He was dating my sister Leslie. They married after they both graduated. Howard was always loving, kind, thoughtful and affectionate. I stayed at their home many times when I visited in the Chicago area. We visited more often over the years when he and Leslie came to California to visit our mom. A very happy memory is when my husband Tony and I joined Leslie and Howard in St. Thomas. VI, for a baseball tournament between Howard’s Chicago baseball team and 4 other teams from the US including the St. Thomas team. We enjoyed watching Howard as pitcher leading his team and sharing the sightseeing with them. Sending lots of love to Leslie and their children and grandchildren. Your loving sister,, Sharlene

I didn’t know Howard directly, but I am privileged to know the Gallay family Anyone that’s raised the Gallay family must be super special and know he was proud of the family that he created.

Last I was with Howard was when hosting our 50 year grammar school reunion. We had a great time reminiscing with old school friends. He will be missed.

Driving from our duplex to the MSU Stadium with Mr & Mrs Gallay in the front seat and a bunch of fans in the back of the pick up and almost clipping the side mirrors between the houses.
