You are missed by so many and that is such a beautiful testament to all you gave. You are the last of my paternal family cousins line but with so many descendant’s of your own, our line is well represented with kindness and love. The Blessings you gave will continue through them.
Chuck, Eric, Jonathan, Greg and Family, know that your Southern family’s heart is also saddened and we will include Donna on our Yahrzeit remembrance list.

My parents Al and Lee Rubin were dear friends of Chuck and Donna for decades. I loved them since I was just a tot. Together, as two couples or with Sharon and Eddy Ferdman, they always had the best time-so much laughing! And when all our families were together, we were like one family. In fact, Mark was my mom’s anesthesiologist for a surgery she had, and she would joke about him seeing her “unmentionables”! Donna was also always caring and thoughtful about my son. Ian still has the baby Big Bird, Cookie, and red velvet bear plushies she gave to him when we were at their home for a gathering. When my mom passed away, Donna was a comforting friend to me. I loved talking to her. I loved her. I was thinking about calling her for the last month and when I found out about her passing, I was shocked and heart broken. My heart goes out to Chuck and the family on this terrible loss. I hope all the memories of the laughter, love and joy she brought into the lives of so many-bring some comfort during this time. I know her memory will be for a blessing. I will miss her.

Donna and I became friends so many years ago. She was my giggle buddy. I don’t know why but every time we we re together or talking on the phone we laughed . Then we found out that her Zadywas married to my great aunt. So we were cousins sort of. I will miss laughing with her and talking to her and spending holidays with her and Chuck. We met Donna 50 years ago at a garage sale she was holding in the neighborhood that we’d just moved into. That meeting turned into five decades of shared life experiences: backyard barbecues, holiday and family celebrations, traveling the world together- good times and bad. Our lives were made richer because Donna was there. Chuck and the entire Schwartz family, please accept our deepest condolences. We are fairly new friends of Donna and Chuck. We met through mutual friends and found out we had more friends in common. Donna was a wonderful person and friend. Warm and caring and a treasure in our lives. We had many special times with Donna and Chuck and we will hold those memories in hearts. Sending you all our prayers and we will hold you in our hearts.
