Jeanette Block, 100, passed away on October 3, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Irwin “Sonny” for 58 years; loving mother of Arthur (Anita), Dr. Robert (Paula), Stephen (Sue) and Cindy ( David) Shapiro; cherished grandma of Adam (Carolyn), Jason (Jaime), Ryan (Anne) Rick (Sophie), Jennifer (James) Moran, Ansley (Matt) Seguin, Kelly (Jeff) Roth, Whitney (Justin Cunningham), Ben ( Dr. Mor) Shapiro, Ariel ( Rabbi David) Pardo, Rebecca (Anthony) Romero and Abigail (Jacob) Roth; much loved great grandma “Gigi” of 27; much loved sister of the late Martin ( Shirley) Lubowich, the late Arthur, the late Ralph (the late Dorothy) and the late David (the late Olga) Lubowich; admired aunt, great aunt and friend of many. She will be dearly missed. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Ezra Habonim, The Niles Township Jewish Conservative Congregation, www.ehnt.org/donations. Jeanette was a kind and thoughtful person with a big heart. She lived everyday practicing the Universal Truth Philosophy

TREAT PEOPLE like you want to be treated.

Everything you do should be a WIN WIN, it must be good for all involved, business and personal.

Don’t lie, cheat, steal, kill.
Don’t do anything illegal, immoral, unethical.

pay forward and help others.

If everyone would do this simple thing what a wonderful world it would be.

Jeanette’s laughter and wit will be missed.

Jeanette was a blast, a person who brought laughter and fun wherever she went. From my wonderful memories of her bringing me pajamas every Chanukah to her teaching my own children how to play poker, I have so much love for her. She will certainly be missed, but always appreciated. Sending love to the entire family.
