We have known the Lewis’ for many years. Marty was a kind, generous guy. He helped me out letting me stay at his motel several times when I was stuck at Midway during storms with cancelled flights. I always appreciated that kindness.
I stood up at there wedding and have fond memories of the bride’s maid dress. A Kelly green Mandarin long dress . He was a lovely man, a true gentleman. May his memory be a blessing.

Marty was a solid guy and always approached everyone with a smile. I always felt like he was excited to hear what was new in your life and was always grateful that you shared. A good man and a friend to many! Many levels above most people around him and he will be missed. Godspeed Marty

I have known Marty since Arlene brought him to my engagement party when we were in High School in 1963. They had just started dating and the party was at her house. He walked in and saw the sign, “Congratulations Arlene & Marty” (that was our names also) and he started to panic! We always had a great laugh over that first meeting. We knew Marty as a kind & funny man full of Joie de Viere.

MRL- If there was an award given for “Living Your Best Life”, you would be a lock. A successful business owner for whom I worked for 39 years, you were my mentor, my big brother, and my inspiration.
Above all else you were the quintessential family man who cherished your family experiences and loved the many unique adventures around the world you embarked on with your family.
RIP Marty- your legacy, values, and inspiration will live on in those of us whose lives you touched and impacted.

What a beautiful service for an exceptional man. We will always remember Marty with great affection. We treasure the times we spent with him, from the very beginning of our friendship many years ago in the neighborhood. He loved life! And Judy’s flourless chocolate cake!
Marty always cared about us, and our family, asking questions, not as a formality, but because he really wanted to know. He was generous, kind and genuine. There was a sweetness and innocence about him that was so appealing. He will be very much missed.
With love,
Judy and Wayne Lewis
