Obituary

Jacquelyne “Jackie” W. Lewison, just shy of 96 years, died May 22, 2025, in her Tamarac, Florida home. Jackie, a Chicago native, was married 39 years to the late Dr. Marvin B. Lewison and has lived in Tamarac, Florida for the past 32 years. Adored mother of Murray (Helene) Lewison, Cynthia (Dr. Howard) Rubenstein and Dr. Gary Lewison; much loved nana of Marc (Sheri) Lewison, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Lewison, Jill Lipman and Jonathan (Amy) Rubenstein; cherished great-grandma of Jonah, Alexandra, Jax and Beckett Lewison, Joanna and Jordan Lipman and Jacob and Aubree Rubenstein; treasured sister of the late Lorraine (the late Hymen) Ray; dear aunt, cousin and friend of many. Jackie will be dearly missed. Memorial donations in her honor to: Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, www.fidf.org/donate, would be greatly appreciated. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. With heartfelt sympathy to all of Jackie’s beloved family,
It was a true honor and privilege to know Jackie — such a beautiful person, inside and out. Her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
