Obituary

Lita Toll (71) of Chicago, IL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Born in Chicago to Frances and David Toll, Lita graduated from Evanston Township High School. Lita is survived by her loving sister Sharon (Ira) Silverman of West Grove, PA; caring niece and nephew, Rachel Silverman and Lowell Silverman (Rachel Pulverman-Silverman); great niece and nephew, Dana and Heath Silverman. In lieu of flowers, contributions to your local food bank would be appreciated. Private graveside service. Please attend via livestream, Monday 10 AM. My sympathies go out to Sharon and your family.
I lived around the block on Trumbull growing up. My mother Dorothy Cooper was friendly with your mom and would bring me along when she visited with your mom. We used to play while they visited. I vaguely remember that Lita may have been in brownies.
May Lita’s memory be a blessing that you hold close to your heart.

My thoughts and prayers are with Sharon and family on the loss of Lita..Our Dad’s went to school together and we were neighbors one block down on St.Louis in Skokie my Dad is Irwin Goldberg..and your Dad were good friends..I’m sorry to learn of Lita’s passing she was always nice..May her memory be for a blessing..Sending hugs and love to all Cheryl Goldberg Jacobs
