Obituary
A proud U.S. Army Korean War veteran, Mickey was known for his strong work ethic, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family. To know him was to love him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and never complained, even when facing significant health challenges. Beginning at age 50, Mickey battled medical conditions with remarkable resilience-always smiling and finding a way to make the best of every situation.
After retirement, Mickey and his beloved Micki relocated to Las Vegas, where they enjoyed 26 vibrant years before returning home to be closer to family. He was an active member of B’nai Brith, loved bowling, and cherished every moment spent with those he held dear. Mickey will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Memorial donations in his honor can be made to B’nai Brith International, www.bnaibrith.org/donate. Chapel service, Thursday, November 20, 2025; 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Interment to follow at Shalom Memorial Park. For the link to view the service, shiva information and to leave condolences: www.shalommemorial.org or (847) 255-3520.
