Your favorite arts organization in Ann’s memory
Obituary
Ann was a proud graduate of Wellesley College and a devoted alumna throughout her life. She dedicated herself to the arts, volunteering with the American Craft Exposition and supporting artistic endeavors of all kinds. A passionate traveler, Ann held a special love for Paris-from her first visit at seventeen, where she saw Josephine Baker perform live, to her final trip celebrating her 88th birthday with her three daughters. She delighted in fine dining and wine and was an accomplished cook who shared her talents generously. Ann had a remarkable gift for making friends wherever she went, and her warmth touched everyone who knew her. Above all, her greatest joy was her family. She will be deeply and dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Am Yisrael Conservative Congregation (www.amyisrael.org), Wellesley College (www.wellesley.edu/giving) or to your favorite arts organization in Ann’s memory. Chapel service Wednesday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Ann and I worked together almost 30 years. She has always been a force to be reckoned with and so very beloved at the same time. I told her she was the “Comeback Queen,” and she worked out religiously until the first week of November. She was fiercely devoted to all she loved and cared deeply for others. Ann taught me so much about life and I will miss her her dearly.

We did so much together that it will feel strange to me to do things alone from now on. I miss my best friend so very much.
