Greta E. Greene

Back in the late eighties I worked with Greta at “Let Them Eat Cake” for a number of years. First on Foster and Paulina then the bakery moved to Cicero. I became Greta’s chauffeur, picking her up every morning and driving all the way to Cicero. Sam then drove her home. I live in Vernon Hills and I was there when “My Favorite Muffins “ was born. After Sam died we still kept in touch a few times a year. Somehow we lost touch and I missed her very much. It’s midnight and I had the sudden urge to find her. I am heartbroken that I missed seeing her by about three weeks. She was a wonderful friend and I will still think of her often 💕💕
