I met Sandy at Wisconsin Hills Middle School and worked with her for many years. I was fortunate to be on her team for a few of those years.
Sandy and I were friends and she shared a lot of her life with me in Wisconsin. Though she retired earlier than me, we met to swim at her pool and her gym and had several lunches together in Glendale. She invited my husband and I to her Temple when she was honored there for one of her many acts of service.
She told us many beautiful stories of her time in Israel and we talked of traveling there together though we never made the trip . She spoke of her family often and of her life growing up in Superior.
My sincere condolences to her family.

I met Sany many years ago at an AIPAC conference and we maintained our friendship thru subsequent AIPAC and related events . Along with so many others we shared our love for Israel. We were also among the few Jews who were conservative politically.
She translated her beliefs into action, always willing to contact legislators to aid Clal Yisroel.
Sandy was also a good, kind and very smart person who never complained.
She will be missed by the whole House of Israel.
May her neshama have an aliyah!

Sandy and I have been friends since our days at Superior Senior High School.
We went to college at WSU-Superior.
We renewed our friendship when I moved to Milwaukee. I hadn’t heard from her for months. I am so sad that she is gone. I hope she wasn’t ill for long.

Sandy and I taught together in the Elmbrook School system at Wisconsin Hills Middle School and Junior High. Our rooms were right next to each other, Sandy teaching Math and me with my German. Her classes were always so well managed and quiet, where us crazy Germans were out making noise.
There were a few very noisy activities. She would quietly call me on the class phone to announce that her students were taking a test and they needed a bit of quiet, So I had to “sit” on my kids!
When computers were required to be used for grading, I would often have to come over to show her how to start her machine up. I did this gladly, however, after she retired, she became a computer guru. She would take pictures and make the most memorable collages for everyone, including Senator Ron Johnson.
One summer she also worked on a kibbutz teaching Math. I know she received an award for this from her Synagogue. She was a wonderful, giving, unselfish woman and I know will be missed.
We “adopted” Sandy and took many trips together: around Wisconsin, to Lake Geneva, Waupaca, Fond du Lac, and out here to Arizona, where we retired: Sedona, Jerome, Tucson…and even Las Vegas!!.. There was a new casino just built by the name of Aria. She needed to get paper, or pens or stickers with that name on it, since that was the name of her newly born niece. I will greatly miss my traveling buddy. She now rests in the arms of our Lord. God Bless Sandy and her entire family! We are honored to be numbered among her friends.

Sandy was such a great human being. She was instrumental in so many things that helped Judaism like Aipec. She helped Ron Johnson Go to Israel for the first time she also talked to Scott Walker’s office and they started to understand about Israel .We met him in his office. She always tried to promote Israel and Judaism. Plus she was a great friend, a great human being a sweet, kind person! She will be dearly missed!!!
