Arlen N Schor

Arlen “Arnie” Schor, 89, passed away on May 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Deanne (nee Ruhaack) for 38 wonderful years; loving father of Brett (Norma), Eric (Alyssa) and Tony (Mindy Ugolini); dear father in-law of Linda Schor; stepfather of Vicki Blumer, much loved “Grandpa Arnie” of Nicole (Jess) Brown, Danielle (Mickey) Chicchinelli, Tyler, Abe (Emma), Josh, Seth, Lily and Talia Schor; wonderful great grandpa of Mackenzie, Ari and Zev; adored brother of Joe (Sharon) Glick; treasured uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many. Arnie was a proud graduate of The University of Illinois class of 1957, member of AEPi Fraternity where he was known as “Arnie 57.” He was an avid Chicago Sports Fan: the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and the Chicago Bulls. Arnie loved animals and enjoyed movies, dancing, going to the theater, traveling, and a good game of golf but his greatest joy was family, especially his grandkids. He will be dearly missed.
