He lived right around the corner from me/my family for many years. Think my mother also helped him politically for a short time. I’m in shock-wish I knew this happened sooner. Had no idea. He was a real mench who will be deeply missed. Baruch Dayan Emet. “May G-D comfort u with all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem”

Charles was a gentleman and professional in all of our dealings. He will be a great loss to the legal profession and to all of his clients whom he treated as friends.

Always smiling, thoughtful, professional…, family man…
I knew Chuck since late 1970’s, rented space from me, shared cases, stories, events… and lost touch over the last few years as life has a tendency to do.
Truly one of the good ones.
Miss You Chuck

To the Levy Family,
Chuck was a colleague and long term practitioner at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. He was well respected as a practitioner and well regarded by all that he interacted with. Chuck and I had many cases over the years and he was always a gentleman to deal with. I am certain that he will be missed by all. In behalf of the Commission, I extend our deepest condolences.

Chuck and his brother Howie along with his sisters Gin and Maureen were like my family. Being an only child, they filled that
void for me. I spend many hours with all of them. Chuck and I would always walk around on Jewish Holidays together.
Even. though, we haven’t been close for many years I would ask about him and Nancy and the kids.
My deepest sympathy to his entire family.

Mr. Levy gave me the opportunity to work as his paralegal. He was an accomplished and respected attorney and public servant. I’m grateful that I had the opportunity to work for him. His office was filled with awards and recognition for his achievements. My condolences to his family.

May your name for many years to come be a blessing. You raised the bar for professionalism and your family should know when you spoke about them to me it was with love and affection. May peace return to your family.

Dear Levy Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Chuck through the Township Officials of Illinois and the Illinois Township Attorneys Association. Chuck was a true public servant, always ready to work towards improving township government. He was always at events with a smile, a story or a suggestion. He will be missed!
