More than just a colleague in the used machinery business for over30 years, Fred was a trusted friend and a joy to know. Whenever he called the office, he had a way of spinning funny stories about our own lives that always brought smiles and laughter. His warmth, kindness and steady friendship left a lasting impression on all of us here at Alma Machinery….and we will miss him.

Dear Inez, I was so saddened to hear of Fred‘s passing. I was out of town until yesterday morning and felt badly that I couldn’t be at the service. Fred always had a smile, always was happy and I know how the two of you loved Lake Geneva in Florida. May his memory be a blessing and give you some comfort along with your children. My sincere sympathy, Joyce Friedman.

To Inez Tivin and family. I want to send my sincere condolences to you all. I first met Fred when my mother, Skippy Kray, worked for Fred and Erik. I then became more familiar with Fred and Inez as they frequented the Eye Dr. office where I work. Fred was always so nice and friendly, and we would talk about the Lake Geneva home he and Inez were living at. May his memory be a blessing to all. Fondly, Ellen Fryer

I knew Fred from my girlfriend Lori Cohen whose grandson Jason is married to Lori’s daughter Marissa. I especially enjoyed
talking with Fred especially when it came to sports. He was always very pleasant to talk to about anything. A great person has left the world. He will be missed in the physical world but his soul will endure forever.
My deepest sympathies to Inez and his entire family.
