Melvin W. Plotsky, 86, beloved husband of E. B. Plotsky, née Rabin, happily married for nearly 38 years; loving father of Fred (Barbara) Plotsky, Mona Plotsky and Dena (Craig) Newman; cherished Zaidy Melvin of ten wonderful grandchildren and seven extraordinary great-grandchildren; dear brother of Neil (Dana) Plotsky, Sheri (Jeff) Nianick, the late Gene Plotsky and the late David Plotsky; fond brother in-law of Mina Plotsky and Debbie Greenberg. Melvin was a treasured uncle, cousin and friend to many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org . Chapel service Wednesday, August 27, 2025, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park.
