Obituary

Aaron Isaac Ginsburg, 89, beloved husband and best friend of Carely Ann née Gordon for 67 wonderful years; loving father of Mitchell and Noah (Denise); cherished Zaide of Tori, Josh, Jordan, Lindsey and Spencer; devoted son of the late Rose and Julius; dear brother of the late Shirley and Naomi; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Aaron was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served his country with honor. Following his military service, he built a successful career as a dedicated and accomplished salesman and store manager at Polk Brothers, where he was well known for serving customers throughout Chicago and the North Shore with integrity and warmth. Above all, Aaron’s greatest joy in life was his family, whom he loved deeply and wholeheartedly.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Temple Beth-El at www.templebeth-el.org/donate. Chapel Service Thursday, September 25 at 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. I looked forward to seeing Aaron at the Cubs game on a regular basis. Not only did we both enjoy watching baseball at Wrigley Field, but we enjoyed kibitzing with each other. I truly miss those days with Aaron and with Jeffrey!

Ditto Dan
Mr G as we called him was a Mench.
A gregarious man with a low thundering voice . A Fixture in the stands at WMU Soccer . Mr G was also a mentor to us also a giver of sage advice.
He was also a legend at Polk brothers .
My father and him were competitors in the appliance business. They both knew everyone in the industry. The respect and impeccable reputation these men had was tremendous.
We were blessed to have such fantastic role models for parenting, ethics and civics. A true hero of ours he will be sorely missed but his memory and impact carries on each day.

Mr Ginsburg in the stands watching Mitch play soccer for WMU. He was always with his wife and the whole team could hear him cheer for Mitchell. This happened all the time. We loved it.
