My finest memories of the Wines & Spirits industry were working with Herb and the crew at Monsieur Henri Wines /Stolichnaya vodka. Herb was the engine that made the train role. He was the consummate professional who never met a depletion goal he liked. But, he always found a way to make it. Herb will be missed by so many whose lives he touched during his career. I will never forget the Hawaii incentive trip that Herb put together with Continental Distributing. Stoli and Guava for the entire poolside. Herb was a legend and must never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Herb and may you dominate that craps table in the sky.

Susan, Jamie& Stephen, Sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Anyone rep who worked at continental distributing will have many memories of Herb. His incentive trips were second to none and too many to mention. We worked better than any group on the street while at MHW. After a hard day we were all a little parched so a Stoli or (bucket)wasn’t out of the question. Herb also knew his wines so a Pommard at Morton’s was also a nice lunch choice. The business was much more fun then and Herb knew how to work it.
Many laughs were shared with Herbie and many memories that make me laugh as I’m writing this.
RIP HERB!
I’m sure you and Barry Labovitz are throwing dice somewhere up there.
