Elaine Levin, nee Shorr, 89, beloved wife of the late Jule; loving mother of Steven (Denise Mattson) and Myrna (Arnold) Zullow; cherished grandmother of Jamie (Gio Salazar) Zullow and Matthew Zullow; treasured sister of the late Anne Luchen, Ben Shorr, and Barbara Chernoff; devoted daughter of the late Frank and Mary; dear aunt and friend to many. Graveside service 11AM Friday, Sept. 12th at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Network (pancan.org) or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (michaeljfox.org). Elaine was my aunt but also a very good friend. She was a great luncheon companion and a very kind human being. She added a lot to all her relationships. No one could have been prouder of her children than Elaine. We spent untold hours visiting and enjoying each other’s company.
