I was so sorry to hear about Jerry. I remember his smile, his jokes and especially how deeply he loved his family. He took such joy at the many get togethers hosted by his sister Jane and brother-in-law Bob. My condolences to Amy and family..

Words cannot describe what Gerry meant to me and how much he mentored me during our friendship. It started in our Textile world and we became close and spend time with each other and spoke on a daily basis . I always enjoyed Gerry‘s demeanor and his friendship and he will be very missed by me and others he had contact with daily. Rest in peace, dear friend.!

Jerry always smiled. Like Max his dad, I remember him always smiled Must of been something of the KOHN/LEVI gene. Jerry’s paternal grandma & my paternal grandfather (Max Levi) were brother & sister. The came to America from somewhere in Hungary.
My mom told me Aunt Kohn was like my grandfather. no matter what, they were smiling. Jerry’s dad Max & my dad Ben were 1st cousins. Max looked at my dad like a little brother. My dad adored Max and the family. I remember growing up and going to Ann & Max’s apartment often. Jerry babysat for me!! yep!!!. When I was getting older he would be amazed & say “I babysat for that kid!”.
Anyone who knew my dear beloved dad, Ben, knew, he ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE, like Max and Jerry.
Jerry, Rest In Peace , say hello to our mutual family. And as I write this, I too am smiling, it’s the gene and who we are. Cousin Shelly
