DeeDee Kaufmann nee Kayner, 88, beloved wife of the late Ralph; loving mother of Kathy Nelson, Beth (Dennis) King and Mark (Beth) Kaufmann; cherished Grammy of Ryne, Jordan (Jenna), Melanie (Jon), Laura (Corey), Jenna (Kevin), Amy, Matt and Andy; adored great grandmother of 11; treasured sister, aunt, cousin and friend of many. Dear Kathy, Beth, and Mark, I am very sorry for your loss. My father Irving Kaufman was a first cousin of your grandfather and a good friend of both your parents. In fact, Deedee and Ralph used to babysit for me when I was a small child in Champagne Urbana, IL. My husband and I visited your parents in 2020. Always very kind and loving. Loved her family very much. I remember her and her loving husband Ralph always there encouraging and cheering her grandchildren on….from dance recitals to graduations…a very proud mother and grandmother. She will be missed. God is near to the brokenhearted…Sending love and prayers to the family.
