Harry Becker

Harry Becker, age 92, passed away in Cathedral City, California on September 23, 2025. Born and raised on “The Great Vest Side” of Chicago to Sarah and Edward Becker, he graduated from Marshall High School and the University of Illinois, and he remained a loyal Chicago Cubs fan all of his life. Harry married the love of his life, Lois, in 1958, and together, they raised their family in Wilmette, Illinois. Harry and Lois spent many fulfilling years working with Jewish Marriage Encounter, and in 2019, they moved to California. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Becker. He is survived by his devoted wife Lois, his children Jay Becker and Karyn Glennon, his precious grandchildren, Jordan (Samantha) Glennon and Kendall Glennon, his former son in law, Jim Glennon, and many nieces and nephews and their children. In lieu of flowers donations in Harry’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org or to Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, www.eisenhowerhealth.org/giving. A private service will be held at Shalom Memorial Park in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Private shiva. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
