I just saw that your dad passed away a few months ago. Thinking of you all with very fond memories and love. Joni

You only meet a few people in your lifetime that have a lasting impact on who you are as a person, and Eddie was one of those rare souls.
Over the 20+ years he was a part of our lives, his generosity, kindness, and unique outlook on life never ceased to amaze me.
I’ve met many successful people and each tend to lack a single quality that helped make Eddie so unique, humility. Even in his success he was unassuming on the outside, and he would never disparage someone with less than. He made sure those around him were taken care of, and were never wanting to the best of his ability.
He was a man that preferred stability and familiarity over the new and flashy. Someone with a closest full of the same exact shoe, because he liked them and always made sure he had backup pairs.
He enjoyed seeing people happy, and enjoying life. We vacationed with him on a few occasions and I’ll always remember him finding a chair by the pool in Miami. Not to swim, but to simply watch. When I asked him why he said, he just enjoyed watching people going about their lives and enjoying themselves. Even when he himself was on vacation.
I could go on an on about Eddie, but I know he’d hate me spending this much time talking about him. There are only a handful of people you’ll come across in life that can have the impact that Eddie had on mine. He was a shining example kindness, generousity, humility, and to enjoy what is going on around you. I’ll never be able to emulate what Eddie put out into the world, but I’ll try any chance I can.
