Obituary

Judy Lev, nee Karzen, a few days shy of her 92nd birthday, beloved wife for 65 years of the late Jerry Lev; loving mother of Steve (Elaine) Lev and Julie (Ronald) Carvajal; adored grandmother of Ben Lev, Dan Lev, and Sam Carvajal; cherished sister of the late Charlotte (the late Ernie) Horwich; devoted aunt of Andy Horwich Allen (John) and Jill Horwich, loving daughter of the late Sam and Ethel Karzen. She had treasured lifelong friendships, and was a special dog grandmother to Casey and Carlos.Judy was a resident of Glencoe and Glenview and raised her family in Skokie. She was the pillar of strength for her family. Judy’s independence and incredible energy well into her 90’s amazed all. Her strength, love, grace, generosity, and spirit will always stay with her family and everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed.In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Planned Parenthood, www.plannedparenthood.org, The Greater Chicago Food Depository, www.chicagofoodbank,org, or to the charity of your choice.
