Jay Franklin Newman, 58. Beloved son of the late Norman and Myra; cherished brother of Wendy (Bob) Waskin, Holley (Don) Hoffman, Ione (Steve) Novak, Ted (Cathy) Richards, the late Maureen (Dennis) Perper, and the late Wendy Richards; treasured uncle of Jeff Waskin, Alissa, Nicole, and Jake Perper, Melanie (Alex) Moore, Alexandra Hoffman, Jeremy and Alex Novak, Jamie Richards, and Nate (Samantha) Richards; proud great-uncle of Jordan, Julia, Hallie, and Piper; loving life partner of Stephanie Spiegel. Jay was a beloved employee at Jewel in Skokie for many years.
