Obituary
Sandra “Sandy” Teplitz, 83, passed away on March 22, 2025; beloved wife of the late Robert for 34 wonderful years; loving mother of Ruth (Denise Reed), Allen (Katie) and Lisa (Sheila) Teplitz-Crawford; cherished grandma of Maurice, Becca (Kyle) Zemanovic, Spencer, Logan, Maxwell, Brandon, Jonathan, Jenna, Amber, Olivia, Caleb and Gabe; dear great grandma of Amelia, Nolan, Henry and Avayah; much loved sister of the late Rosetta (the late Steven) Teplitz and sister in-law of Janice (Arnie) Weisler; adored aunt and friend of many. Sandy was a Mount Prospect resident for over 30 years, she worked as a bankteller at BMO Harris for many years, where she was always friendly and was known for making people smile with her jokes. After retirement from the bank, Sandy worked part time at Kohls Department Store or could often be found volunteering at Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter. Sandy made many lifelong friends and could talk to complete strangers; however, her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. Sandy will be dearly missed by all who’s lives she has touched.
