Frieda Bernstein (née Olex), age 100, of Lincolnwood, beloved wife of the late Sidney; loving mother of Charles (Joanne), Avery (Richard Jr), and the late Sarah (née Judy); proud Grandma of Rachel (Michael), Naomi, Samuel (Jessica), Melissa (Michael), Katherine (Ryan), and Stephanie (Jason); adoring GG of Abigail, Caroline, Milo, Jack, Noah, Matthew, McKenna, Paige, Gavin, Brandon, and Michaela; dear sister of the late Irving (Sonya); treasured aunt and cousin. I have known the (Chuck) Bernstein family for nearly 40 years and remember Frieda’s visits to California, nearly every winter plus other special occasions. She clearly loved her family and wanted to participate in everything while she was in town. She seemed to have a never ending supply of energy and knowledge of what was going on with her children and grandchildren. Thank you for doing Zoom for the service so those of us from afar could watch. The Kessler family sends our love and condolences to the Bernstein family and may Frieda’s memory be for a blessing.
