Phyllis Marcus (née Jamison), 85, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away on December 6, 2025. Born September 17, 1940, in Chicago, Phyllis lived in Kentucky, California, North Carolina, and Arizona. She was married to her beloved husband, Elliot, for 63 years. A dedicated language arts teacher and gifted textile artist, Phyllis brought creativity and beauty into everything she touched. Known for her kindness and warmth, she was a loyal friend who kept in touch with people from every stage of her life-even as far back as kindergarten. She will be remembered for her love of family, Steve (Chris), Robert (z”l), Mark, Heidi (Bob), and cherished grandchildren Marcus, Andrew, and Jameson, her generosity of spirit, and the countless lives she enriched.
