Obituary
Linda carried a deep love of art throughout her life. After attending fine art school, she expressed her creativity through painting on canvas, finding beauty and meaning in every brushstroke. Her artistic spirit guided both her passions and her career, from working with art supply companies, to the display industry, and later serving the City of Evanston with dedication and care.
She also had a lifelong love for cats, always finding comfort and companionship in their presence. Above all, Linda’s heart belonged to David and her family. Time spent together brought her the greatest happiness, and she cherished the love, laughter, and memories they shared. She will be remembered for her gentle nature, caring heart, and the quiet warmth she brought to those around her.
In keeping with Linda’s wishes, no memorial service will be held, and arrangements will remain private. The family appreciates everyone’s thoughts and condolences. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. For information and to leave condolences, please contact Shalom Memorial Funeral Home at www.shalommemorial.org or (847) 255-3520.

What can you say about 65 years of friendship…I had the great privilege and good fortune of Linda being my best friend. An even greater privilege though was that I was hers. Linda was a talented painter, a very hard worker who always gave 100%, and a very smart cookie. When her family moved down the block from us in Skokie, both my mother and I got best friends. Her family was like my second family. Always welcoming. I will miss the thought of her every day. RIP Linda Lou. L, Rhoda
