Ronald George Garfinkle, 87. Beloved husband and best friend for 65 years to Jill, nee Komiss; devoted father of Robert Garfinkle, Richard Garfinkle, Judith Garfinkle (Marc Stein), and Lauren Garfinkle; proud grandfather of Joe Garfinkle and Charlie Garfinkle (Danielle O’Brien); loving brother of the late Sally (the late Milt) Green; treasured uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Ron was an avid Cubs fan and Blackjack player. He loved his time with Jill, traveling and going on cruises. Above all, he loved his family and will be deeply missed.
