If I was working in the front yard. Shelley would always stop and talk awhile. She said she enjoyed the flowers and appreciated the work that went into growing them. Sometimes we would cross paths when I was walking the dogs. She would always sit down, talk to and pet them. Sometimes, when I didn’t feel like walking. I would see her go by and think, I should probably go too. I was constantly amazed as to how far she could travel. She was such a sweet and caring person. I will miss her.

Shelly, offered me a position at her school. I worked many years under her. I made many friends there. I appreciate her giving me the opportunity to grow as a professional. Later she and Joe joined me and my husband at our house for a weekly meeting with other friends and we grew together in our learning. We remember both Joe and Shelly very fondly.
