Steve Sadowsky

The first memory I have of Steve was when he was about 4 or 5 years old. At the time his family had a puppy. I think it was a cocker spaniel, but it was so long ago – I’m not positive about that. We were trying to teach Steve that he had to be kind to animals because they love us unconditionally. Little Steve would put a blanket over the puppy and with one hand he would be petting the puppy’s head while his other hand was underneath the blanket pulling the dog’s tail. At first no one could understand why the puppy would suddenly jump and bark which delighted little Steve. That is, until we realized that he was possibly tormenting the puppy. We explained to him about not wanting to hurt the puppy and the puppy would love him so much that he would let Steve pull his tail over and over. Finally, Steve got the message and forevermore, every dog he ever had was loved and taken great care of. Steve cried every time one of his special dogs passed away because he knew how to love and be loved in return. Steve took care of his family well above what a brother should do and we (my sisters and I) respected and loved the man Steve became. He was so thoughtful, loving, successful, and caring. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends, co-workers, and every person he ever dealt with. A man, such as Steve, doesn’t come along every day in our lifetimes and when you meet such a man like Steve – you remember him forever. I know I will.

Dear Karen,

I was beyond sad to hear the news of Steven’s passing. He was our little boy cousin and Iris and I had so much fun with him (and Sherry and Karen) when we were together. Although I haven’t seen him in so many years, I have kept informed from Iris about how wonderful he was in taking care of his family and what a successful business man he became. My heart and thoughts are with you and you will see that he will give you many signs all around you. Much love,Robin

Steve was a great business man, home builder and great to work with. His jobs/houses were always spotless and ready for us. All of our staff are saddened by his passing. He will be missed. We will be making a donation to the Heart Association in his Honor. Karen, we hope the joys you knew and the times you shared help comfort you at this sad time.
