I first met Arnie at the wedding of his son Josh who married my niece Mary in a beautiful ceremony in Buffalo Grove. What I remember most about that first meeting and many others hence was Arnie‘s beautiful smile. It was welcoming and loving and to me actually had a movie star quality about it because he is quite a handsome man. The many discussions that followed at various family events, confirmed the warmth and joy and wonderful human that Arnie is. And if we ever wanted to get into a mutual interest discussion, the Cubs would be the subject or any of his wonderful children or grandchildren. I believe the greatest indicator of success in life are the friends and family and love that you leave behind. Arnie was a hugely successful human and his lasting presence will be here forever in the hearts and minds and smiles of his beautiful family and grandchildren. I will remember you always with love anytime my great friend and adopted son Josh smiles a smile that shares those similar movie star warmth qualities as yours, or his beautiful grandchildren, Hudson, and Damen, bring up your trips to Culver’s together, or Mary, Josh and I share a toast in your honor. You will be greatly missed but always remembered as a wonderful father and grandfather and friend. With love, Steve.

I worked with Arnie for 10 years at Maple School from 1995 until 2005. He was a great person to work with, always hardworking, helpful & positive. I admired how he related to the students, parents & staff. He touched so many lives & will always be remembered.

I first met Arnie while competing against him in Baseball (BGRA)
I have a fond memory of him hitting flyballs to his players before a game and bringing my son out to also get some practice as he was scared of getting hit in the head with ball.
He was a true gentleman and his family loved him so much.
This last year was quite difficult for the whole family, but they never waivered in their show of respect for Arnie,
Will always be a true champions
