For me Nana is an inspiration in the way she lived life with a constant smile. I strive to be like her. The way she lit up when ever anyone walked into a room or even when there was just a conversation happening she was always smiling she didn’t even need to be apart of it she just loved to hear about others and be around others. I’m so grateful for the last trip I got too spend with her and getting to spend the last night watching the rookie until 12. She also reminds me of sweets whether it’s because she was so sweet or because she was always around something delicious like her heath bar cake or even just mint ice cream. Thanks you Nana for the sweetest memories!

My earliest memory of Nana was when she came to a Disney cruise with us. I slept in her room and we talked every night about anything. This is where my true love of Sports came from especially the CUBS. She was the best nana ever, the sweetest and calmest person, and always had a smile on her face. She called every birthday or big celebration and would always talk about her pets and traveling she had been doing. My go to person to talk about any big events happening in my life, like choosing CU where she actually went for a year Sko Buffs. She always had great stories to tell about her family and how they immigrated to America, but what I loved most about her was just how happy she always was, and how we could talk about anything. For example her favorite player on the bulls was Steve Kerr and how her favorite coach was Greg Popovich because of his calm temper similar to her own.
Other amazing memories of her was thanksgiving where we would all get up early and watch the Macy’s day parade in the living room, and she would watch it in the kitchen while making the best health bar cake ever. Thanks Nana for making me a avid sports fan, board game fan especially Blokus, Animal person, Environmentalist and I hope I can be like you one day. I’ll miss you forever LOVE YOU

Nana, for as long as I can remember, had the same pair of special PJs. The baby blue polka-dot pajamas. They were one of the last things you saw before bed and one of the first things you saw in the morning. She was always smiling from ear to ear in them. She loved being around people she loved. I don’t remember a time with her where she wasn’t a part of the party and taking it all in. It seemed like the more people around her loving one another, the happier she was. She constantly made an effort to love, and that is one of the greatest lessons I’ve learned from her. I LOVE YOU, NANA.

Arlene was the best! She was my Mom, Fran’s best friend. They had so many laughs and good times together. Arlene was so down to earth and always called things as they were. I can still hear her laugh. Love you, babe 💕
