Such a Super Nice and Generous man!
He gave me two matching beige leather chairs for my office.
He LOVED his Subaru and going to The Works for a hotdog and fries.
I was invited on his boat, but had to decline, and I believe it was because I saw the beginning of Gilligan’s Island a few too many times and didn’t want to get stranded on some desert isle!
So, so, so terribly sorry for your loss, Hollander family.
May your father’s memory be eternal!

Dear Bev, Lynn and Mark,
I will miss Arnie whom I’ve known since 1968. As you will remember we were back yard neighbors for 50 years. We made a gate in the fence that separated our yards so Lynn, Mark, Julie and Barry would not have to go around the block to play together. Unfortunately some of the school children were using it as a short cut. I’ve turned to Arnie for info on numerous topics. He was the “go to guy”! I am sure he will be missed by many.
Love you,
Marilyn, Julie and Barry

Arne was known as “MacGyver” in the boating world because he could solve every problem that arose with his skills and talents—including the seemingly impossible!!! While out sailing something happened to the starter cable on Cashflow so he cut off a cord from a lamp on board and used it to replace the failed cable – all while underway with the help of “Otto” Helm. We celebrate his amazing sense of humor and love of family with a memory – One afternoon Arne and Bev traveled to their favorite bakery and purchased their favorite coffee cake. Once home, they set it in a place of honor in the kitchen to be enjoyed the next morning. When Beverly awoke she went down to make coffee as usual and discovered the entire cake had disappeared!!!! Arne explained how he was thinking of her well being; how she carefully monitored her diet because did not want to gain any weight and to help her he devoured the entire cake so she wouldn’t be exposed to extraneous calories!!!!! He absolutely adored his family and grand daughters with love and lavish praise. We will miss his smiling face and send prayers of deepest sympathy to his loved ones. Hugs Teri Weber & Pete Lovato

Arnie was so kind to us when we first moved to Chicago. We have wonderful memories of sharing many meals
together and ushering together. We also remember his great sense of humor and his devotion to his wife Beverly. He loved
his children and granddaughters. We also remember his love for boating on Lake Michigan in the summer. He will be
missed.

Arnie’s friendship, humor, wit and loyalty is indelibly etched into our hearts.
Arnie and Bernie were high school buddies.
Bernie and he shared the same birthdays. Bernie was a groom at his wedding and he was a groom at Bernie’s wedding.
Bernie and Arnie always stayed in touch until death.

Great times on Lake Michigan in the boat. Calm serene. The pride of Arnie. And making us work a little.

How could anyone forget Arnie? Always with a joke, always with a smile, whether we were ushering or sailing or traveling around Cuba, he was always a treat to be around. The world will feel sadder without him
