Jeff was a devoted teacher at Roycemore School for over 40 years. He continued working after his retirement at Six Flags Great America, where he was on his 11th season there and continued to make an impact on everyone he met.

Oh, dear Mr. Giles. Our sympathies to Ilene, David and Paul.
So many dear memories of parent teacher meetings with this kind and amazing teacher. “I’m teaching her math. You stay out of it!” He responded to our question as to why there was no math homework. Or, holding up a test or a paper and saying “I could have given her a B+ but the A inspires her more.”
His classroom was a wonder zone. His field trips amazing. All three of our children loved Mr. Giles as did we.
We are all better for having Jeff pass through our lives.
