My memories of Jordy revolve around the golf course. I met him when joined the Men’s league here. He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. Jordy is greatly missed by all of us that were privileged to know him and call him friend.

I met Jordy in high school in1951. We were in the same social athletic club there, staying friends since then, separated only by distance and our activities.
I also fondly remember visiting him and his family in their home back then which included his mom and dad, twin sisters and his grandpa, all so friendly and welcoming.
Jordy and Judy created a great family to follow good memories. What more can we ask? They had lives well lived, honored, and respected.

Jordy was a long time member of the Men’s Niners here in Oakwood, Sun Lakes. The most telling thing about Jordy was his optmistic attitude toward the game of golf. No matter how bad the game was going, Jordy was upbeat. Jordy seemed to find humor in even the worst hit golf ball.
Jordy will be missed by the Niners members for his laugh and his funny stories. One I recall had to do with his time in the Army, where they made him a cook.

Jordy will be missed by many here in Sun lakes at Oakwood Country Club. He was an avid golfer and part of our Monday, Friday group as well as the men’s league on Tuesday and Thursday. I swear he has been everywhere in his many years on this earth. If you mentioned a place in the world …he had been there. He is now at peace with his wife. Rest in peace Jordy.

I only knew Jordy during the short one year since we moved to Sun Lakes. Our golf group at Ironwood was lucky to see him last week. I will miss his smile and jovial personality. So glad he got the chance to keep doing what he enjoyed. Take care my friend. You will be missed.

Jordy and I were not of the same Faith or political party, but we never let our differences interfere with our friendship . . . and even celebrated those differences. I greatly enjoyed Jordy’s good mind and deeply respected his values and strong sense of self.
He was one of the Good Guys, and I will miss him.

Jordy was a man of many things! An avid traveler, storyteller, poker player, loved his golf, night time schnapps, dance partner and a man with a wonderful zest for life! He came alive when he was surrounded by people, specially those he loved and cared for deeply.
Over the last two years I got to know Jordy on many levels and shared and created a unique and special bond with. He was an incredible man with whom I shared a birthday with, and had the honour of celebrating together with Craig, Steve and Aiden.
I was blessed to have been welcomed into his home from day one with a warm hug, big smile and a kiss on the cheek each time we saw each other. Steve ,Jordy and I shared many hours talking, spending time together, going to the driving range, Jordy and I dancing, making and having dinner together and just getting to know who Jordy was. A proud father, grandfather and friend I was lucky to get to know.
A truly special man gone but will never be forgotten! Will forever live in the hearts of those that loved and adored him.
May he finally be reunited with the love of his life that he always spoke about so lovingly and fondly of, Judi. BDE
