At the age of 16, she began her studies at New York University before transferring to Roosevelt University in Chicago. It was there that she met her future husband, Harry. After marrying, Celia and Harry made their home in Skokie, where they raised their family. Celia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who generously shared her love and warmth with an extended circle of family and friends. She dedicated many years to charitable work, including long-time volunteer service with The City of Hope Medical Center. Celia was deeply cherished by those who knew her, and her kindness, compassion, and presence will be dearly missed by all.
