Iris Ruth Heyman

Iris and I were club sisters in high school. We became especially close after a cruise the club took when we were 70 years old. Since then, we’ve enjoyed many long enjoyable phone calls together, sharing stories old and new, news of our families, and news of the day. Get–togethers included our husbands who were a great friendly match for each other as well. She always served a nutritious meal and topped it off with an ice cream dessert. Trips to Chicago Botanic Gardens as well as having a fun time talking and playing a game at one of our homes were lovely times that I recall fondly. Iris was always a lively and interesting contributor to our monthly Zoom meetings with our “old” high school club sisters. I will miss Iris. May she rest in peace. Love, Mimi
