In recent years we always enjoyed when the cousins got together for dinner. Cousin Renee will certainly be missed by us all.

I have great memories of Renee while we were at Arnstein & Lehr. Renee was the best H.R. Manager through my 40 years in the legal field. Renee was special to me, as after working several years full-time, I had children and she hired me back in a job-share position three days a week. For me, it was the best of both worlds ~ working in a job I loved 3 days a week and still spending time with my girls. Renee had a tough job with some of those attorneys, but it was impressive to see how good she was at her job. I’m blessed that we’ve been friends over 40 years and would meet for lunch or dinner downtown a few times a year. My condolences to Renee’s family. She was so kind and such a sweetheart. May Renee rest in peace.

Renee came into my life when she married my cousin Larry, and I’m so glad he had the good sense to marry her. Our families spent a lot of holidays together. At our seders, when we sang the song with then words “El B’nai…” we changed the words to “Hail Renee.” Decades later, that’s what I belt out no matter whose seder I’m at.
When our daughter was born, Renee got her the stuffed bear she clung to for years, and that we still have. Renee told me a few weeks ago that she found another of the same kind, which she was cuddling with while we talked on the phone. It’s a truly great bear.
I have so many Renee stories and memories. May her memory be for a blessing. And…Hail, Renee!!
