Jerome Kasper, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 13, 2026. Beloved husband and best friend of Elaine (nee Boyer) for 68 wonderful years; loving father of Jeff (Eva) and Paula (Gerald) Choiniere; cherished “Pops” of Bianca (John) Haracz, Jeremy (Liz), Kyle (Jen Haberthal), Kelsey (Mark Steuer), Paul Choiniere and Marissa (Nico) Franco; adored great-grandfather of Lucas Haracz, Jayden, Braylen, Jazlynn, Boden and Roman Kasper; adored son of the late Joseph and Sylvia; much-loved brother of the late Ronald (Harriett); dear uncle, great-uncle and friend to many. Jerome was the original Mr. Nice Guy. He never seemed to have an enemy and never met a stranger who didn’t soon become a friend. His kindness, warmth and genuine love for others touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was a devoted brother, husband and father, and family was his everything. Above all, one of his greatest joys and proudest moments was becoming a grandfather and, later, a great-grandfather. He treasured every moment with his family and created a lifetime of memories that will be cherished forever. Jerome will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
