One of my best memories of Aunt Natalie was when I was very young my dad, Aunt Natalie’s brother and I visited Chicago and Aunt Natalie was so welcoming and wanted to take me to a movie premier and it just so happened it was the very first Star Wars movie that had just been released. We had no idea what this Star Wars movie was all about but I was so excited to be there with her and also turned out to be quite the movie!
Another memory is when Aunt Natalie and Paula came to our son’s wedding in Colorado Springs and it was an honor to have there to celebrate with all of us.

I have so many memories of my Aunt Natalie. She was my dad, Bernie Blinder’s sister. Since we moved to Denver in the late 60’s., in the early years, most early memories are of family car trips we took going back to Chicago to visit or the Cohen family coming here. She was my favorite aunt and really my only aunt as my dad and Natalie were the only 2 children of our grandparents, Harry and Dorthy. My dad always shared his fond memories of them growing up in Chicago and loved her very much all the way up to his passing in 2005.
One memory in particular was, one summer while I was on summer break, perhaps 10 years old, my parents sent me to Chicago to spend a few weeks in Chicago and stayed with Aunt Natalie and Uncle Shelly. On that trip I recall, saying I wanted to see fireworks on the 4th of July. So Aunt Natalie, made a point to be sure to take me to see fireworks, just her and I, at a local fireworks display. She always treated me as her own child. That love continued well into my adulthood. She always made sure to stay in touch and keep up with me. Mailing Hanukkah cards was one way she kept in touch. She was so gracious to always be sure to open her home for us to stay with here which we did take advantage of and enjoyed and appreciated the one-on-one time we had with her.
Aunt Natalie was loved and will be missed dearly by many.
Love always,
Nephew Brad and Gloria.

I remember Natalie attending her great nephew Michael’s wedding in Colorado Springs, and she was encouraging all of us at the table to go dance. We did, and we were able get her to the dance floor too! A great memory with her. I also remember visiting Chicago and she always lovingly welcomed Brad and I to her home (I hope I was wearing lipstick at the time, but cannot remember!)
Rest in peace, Natalie

The memory I have of Natalie is of a very soft-spoken, kind and classy woman. Her house was filled with beautiful art and furnishings, a true reflection of her.
May her beautiful memories help sustain all who knew and loved her..
